Metal Ninja Studios is thrilled to announce the 2024 Metal Ninja Charity Challenge!
This year’s event is packed with exciting opportunities to get involved, have fun, and make a real difference. This year, our efforts go toward the benefit of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, one of the world’s leading pediatric treatment and research facilities, and we are pulling out all the stops to raise funds for this amazing cause. By supporting life-saving research and care, this charity challenge allows all of us to rally together through creativity and community.
A Comic Book Journey That’s Powered by YOU
Central to this year’s challenge is Beyond the Challenge, an original charity comic produced by the creative minds here at Metal Ninja Studios. This story is fueled by the grit and determination of the World's Toughest Mudder, a grueling 24-Hour obstacle course race Joel Rodriguez, Metal Ninja Studios' CEO, is running for the first time this year, with every two miles he completes adding two more pages to the book. The comic will have a minimum of 12 pages, but with your support, we’re aiming to go far beyond that baseline!
Our donation levels offer some exciting rewards and opportunities to be part of the comic, including standard and premium physical editions, the ability to be drawn into the comic, exclusive community access and more!
Join the Collaborative Fan Art Gallery!
This year, we’re adding a brand-new way for artists of all skill levels to get involved: the Collaborative Fan Art Gallery! We’re inviting fans, supporters, and artists from all backgrounds to contribute their own interpretations of Beyond the Challenge characters, the World's Toughest Mudder theme, or any creative take on the journey of resilience and grit that defines the challenge. The gallery will be included with every digital edition of Beyond the Challenge, giving everyone the chance to celebrate this inspiring story through their own unique artistic lens.
Whether you’re sketching heroes, racers, medics, or the intense obstacles, every piece submitted will be a part of the visual legacy of this charity challenge. It’s a fantastic way to let your creativity shine while supporting a worthy cause.

Where Your Donations Go
Every dollar raised will support St. Jude’s mission to end childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Not only do donations support groundbreaking research, but they also help families by covering costs for treatment, travel, food, and housing so they can focus on what matters most: helping their child heal.
The Path Ahead

This virtual event also invites volunteers to lend their skills in social media sharing, graphic design, and outreach to help spread the word.
