If you're just encountering it now,Snow White Zombie Apocalypse (SWZA to the cool kids) is a comic series created by Brenton Lengel. The story began as a play and has enjoyed multiple productions and incarnations since its NYC debut. The first issue, drawn by Dark Horse Comics alumnus & Ringo Award-nominated Inker Hyeondo Park and colored by Jio Butler, was published by Scout Comics to widespread audience and critical acclaim; was rated one of the top 50 indie comics of 2019; and was nominated forTWO 2020 Ringo Awards along with titles from comics industry greats like Stan Sakai, Mariko Tamaki, Coleen Doran, & David Pepose!
The second, third, and fourth issues were drawn by Eisner Award-winnerLuana Vecchio (of Image Comics) along with the issue #0 prequel and re-released to critical acclaim in comic shops nation wide in 2023! Even better, we funded, created and fulfilled the series's FIRST Original Trade Paperback and Deluxe Collector's Edition Hardcover, SWZA Vol. 1 which contains three additional story previews drawn by Ralf Singh (Scout Comics), Kit Buss (Critical Role Campaign One) & Adam Bryce Thomas (IDW). The book also contained a foreword by comics legend Ron Marz AND began with an excerpt from the poem "Fairy Reel" by none other than Neil Gaiman!
